1. ๐ข Saying Bismillah Before
Starting Anything
The Prophet ๏ทบ
taught us to begin every good action with “Bismillah” (In the name of Allah).
It protects us from shaytan and brings blessings in what we do — whether we are eating, writing, entering our home, or starting any task.
> ๐ Hadith: “Any important work that does not begin with ‘Bismillah’ is incomplete.” — (Ibn Hibban)
✅ Try this Sunnah before even drinking water or wearing clothes!
2. ๐ชฅ Using Miswak Before Salah
The Prophet ๏ทบ
used the miswak frequently, especially before Salah (prayer).
It keeps the mouth clean, freshens the breath, and pleases Allah.
> ๐ Hadith: “If I had not found it hard for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the miswak before every prayer.” — (Bukhari)
✅ Even if you don’t have a miswak, brushing teeth regularly with this intention also counts!
3. ๐ค Saying Salam – “Assalamu Alaikum”Greeting fellow Muslims with peace builds love and unity. The simple words “Assalamu Alaikum” are a dua and a Sunnah.
> ๐ Hadith: “Spread Salam among yourselves.” — (Muslim)
๐ When you meet someone, greet them with a smile and Salam. You earn reward and increase brotherhood.4. ๐ Smiling at Others
Smiling is a small act but it can bring big happiness. Our Prophet ๏ทบ always smiled and taught us that even smiling is a form of charity.
> ๐ Hadith: “Your smile for your brother is a charity.” — (Tirmidhi)
✅ Try to greet people with a smile — it's free, easy, and rewarding.
5. ๐ Sleeping on the Right Side & Reciting DuasThe Prophet ๏ทบ would lie on his right side, place his hand under his cheek, and recite supplications before sleeping. This brings calmness and spiritual protection.
Some Sunnah Duas Before Sleeping:
Ayat-ul-Kursi
Surah Ikhlas, Falaq, Naas
"Allahumma bismika amootu wa ahyaa"
๐ Sleep in peace and wake with Allah’s protection, In sha Allah.
✨ Conclusion:
These Sunnahs are not hard — they are light, full of blessings, and easy to make a habit. Start with one, then another… and slowly bring the Sunnah into every part of your day.
May Allah give us all the love of Sunnah and the ability to
practice it daily. Ameen.
