 *Dua After Waking Up*


الْـحَمْـدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ  

(Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba’da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushoor)


*Translation:*  

“All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.”


*Explanation:*  

We thank Allah every morning for giving us life again. This dua reminds us of the blessing of waking up and the reality of life and death.
