Dua Before Sleeping

 Dua Before Sleeping:


اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا  

(Allahumma bismika amootu wa ahyaa)


Translation:  

“O Allah, in Your name I die and I live.”


Explanation:  

This is a Sunnah dua that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to recite before going to sleep.  

We should also make it a habit to read this dua every night before sleeping.  

It brings peace, blessings, and protection from harm during the night.
